as long as I iced it, I could run in the 10K. So I did, and it didn't even hurt by Monday after the race. However, Thursday after the LDSC 5K, I started getnitg intense pain in my right leg. Did lots of IT band stretching, and that alleviated some, but I'm definitely on rest and ice. So my question is (and you've probably covered this before), what do you do when you HAVE to stop running for a week or so to recover from an injury? This is probably more of a concern for new, running-with-the-back runners like me, but I would love to hear your take on it.
