Review for: Washoe Lake State Park
Each site has a roof over the picnic table and a young tree or two. Firepits are metal with grills. Coarse sand in the table/firepit area. There are some pull-through sites, although most are back-in. Sites are reasonably well-spaced.
The CG has flush toilets and showers. No hookups. Water is available about every third site. There is a dump station which doesn't appear to charge a fee. One loop is open year-round.
Spectacular scenery from the campground across sand dunes and Washoe Lake towards the eastern Sierra. The area does tend to be windy.
