Campground along the OREGON TRAIL and the Snake River. Water and Two 20A electric circuits at each site. Free Dump Station at campground entrance. As with all Idaho State Parks the restrooms are very very clean! (cleaned daily!) Very clean park with mature trees, packed gravel sites and plenty of grass! There are two Site areas, The upper site has better shade trees, the lower site has a pavillion, Teepees and Cabins for rent. Great Park for children! Sites have good spacing and was a very quiet park. There are large grassy areas kids can play in..bring a frisbee! The park is now through Reserve America but feel free to call the park direct for info! There is an OREGON TRAIL visitors center near the campground (free admission). Talks about the pioneers crossing the Islands in the snake river! You can drive up to a look out on the hill and still see the wagon ruts (get directions at the visitors center)! Last visited 2001.
