Nice place to stay for a couple days. Lots of wildlife to see. We saw deer, wild turkeys, rabbits and kayaked alongside a huge manatee. Restrooms are clean, our site was a little uneven but nice. I expect it gets very crowded on weekends we stayed during the week and campground was almost empty. Pet friendly but pets not allowed in the springs. Happy camping to all.

We went on a 4th of July week and hated the park. It was very hot with no breeze. The sites are close together but have about a 25' high wall of vegetation all the way around your site. While that offers privacy it stops any breeze at all. Bugs can be a big problem. Our site had several giant fire ant mounds, each about a foot tall. There is only one road in or out and if the park is full the road becomes gridlocked. There is no separate entrance for campers, so if you go out you will not be allowed back in until you have waited in line like everyone else trying to get into the park. You may wait an hour of more trying to get back into the park. We spent the weekend listening to park rangers stop people with there bull horn and chasing up and around the park with sirens blaring. Very annoying. Others like the park but for us, we will never return there again.

Can't say enough. Everything top notch. Nice facilities, playground, general store, walking paths, swimming, tubing, snorkel/scuba...a liitle too close to train tracks for the 6:30 am whistle stop but great park.

One of my favorites, short drive to De Leon Springs SP, where you can have a pancake breakfast at an old sugar mill.

Absolutely spectacular winter park. Unequaled views of manatees. Very close to Disney and Daytona (45 minutes or so). Excellent concessions and staff. Campsites very private due to vegetation. Don't miss this park.
