Yeap, im sure if hindus owned the mtoarijy of the media empire then we would be hearing the same stuff except it would have a hindu flavour to it.Like in the ancient chinese dynasty, the victor writes the history, but also a king stays the king if no-one actually knows who the king is. Can't assasinate him physically, spiritually or socially if you dont know who to target is. Even more so when the shady dealers present a clown that we the citizens of democracy are expected to believe is running our country (or the country your in).Remember how the romans walked into places and tried to subdue it, buuuut . it didn't work, so they tried recruiting an upper-class person from the locals and make that person the token-ruler. The people think that because a local is running things then OK we'll co-operate with the romans now , humph, not like they havea choice now. the token ruler will execute anyone who disobeys roman law .bit like to day, follow america or your a terrorist .

Does Mr. Kruckmeyer talk on his cell phone and drive at the same time? I'm going to wager he does. Like health iusses, getting t-boned by a distracted driver on their cell phone is a gamble. I get in my car which puts me at risk of death or serious injury everyday . Raising taxes on cell phones, cars, gas, tires, etc would seem to be a reasonable solution in Mr. Kruckmeyer's world. After all if it's about saving us from ourselves by achieving prosperity through higher taxes on a legal product so it can never hurt anyone again then why stop at tobacco. Moreover, to lecture us that education is underfunded after the lottery and casinos were sold as fixes to education funding rings hollow. Millions of extra sin dollars were supposed to flow into education and if those dollars are not making it to public schools pockets, then either voters were lied to (this never happens) or maybe he should check Missouri's legislatures pockets for the lost education revenue. We contend that for a nation to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle. Winston Churchill

We just got back from a two night stay at this park in site D9. We will not be returning. The location could absolutely not be beat and the beach is absolutely gorgeous, however the sites were spaced way too close to each other. Due to the fact that you can not reserve a specific site we ended up with a site that had the door of our PUP facing the road no more than 10 feet from the road. We also had to spend the entire weekend picking cockleburs out of the Dogs feet not to mention our own. This site was literaly overgrown with sand spurs as was most of the campground. Thank God our son is not mobile yet we would have probably had to pack up and leave. The check-in procedures are terrible. I shouldn't have to stand in line for 30 minutes on a non-holiday weekend to check in if I have reservations. My wife and I decided this campground is good for someone who is coming from far off and wants to stay within walking distance of a nice beach. For people wanting something other than a beach keep looking because that's all that this campground has to offer. As was expected from a State Park the campsite facilities were clean and the staff friendly, but the proximity of other sites and the sand spurs ruined it for us.

Lots of new water and electric sites. They are also building a new bathouse, should be nice when open. Our bathhouse could've used some upgrading. Scenery around the sites primitive and untouched, most sites fairly level and sandy. Great long beach, takes a while to cross the dunes to get to the beach, but worth the wait. Full hook-ups would be a good future improvement.

My wife and I took an overnighter here on the off season in November. There were some kind of issues at the check in gate so, registration was done in the visitor center. The staff member of the visitor center could not have been less polite. It seemed as though we were a huge inconvience to her, so I left and used the drop bpx instead of dealing with her. Interestingly enough when we went to the visitor center the next day to look at the displays, she was over an hour late to open the facility. The Ranger staff was very polite however. My wife and I were a little disappointed that the only loop that was open, was the "H" loop. The other loops seemed to have some great sites also. But I thought the site was nice and close to the beach. Some of the sites that were left available after we arrived were less than 20 feet from the road, and it was obvious that several campers were less then satisfied as we watched them pass by looking for available sites. Beach access and trails were very convienent, and pleasant. We had a chance to see a variety of wild life including some pelicans, dolphins, and other small songbirds I can finally add to my list. I would visit this park again, however after dealing with the visitor center staff, I would take advantage of the drop box, and call to make certain that other sections of the park were available to camp.
