thetford toilet removal?

I have a Thetford Aqua-Magic toilet. I have tried a lot of suggestions. I found the nut behind the 2 pedals, but I cant find any other nut anywhere. I popped the plastic circle off on the back of the seat and looked down. but there is no nut down there. I felt all around the back floor area but nothing there either. This is driving me crazy. Can anyone tell me where the other nut is?
