Campen Time

Looks like DW and I and the ferrets will be out this weekend up at Point Beach State Forrest in Wisconsin. Wanted to go Fri -Mon, but it looks like Sat thru Mon. I just want to go. We have not been out in the new PU yet the last trip was in the one we traded in.

We did win a two night stay at American Campgrounds and would have to go thru the sales pitch and the other bs.

Anyone been to Point Beach?

I think we'll just head there to PB and relax?[8D]

It's been about eight or ten years since we went to Point Beach. Nice park. All that was between us and Lake Michigan was a ten foot sand dune. Looks like you will have good weather. IFIRC, there is a good maritime museum in Sheboygan.

Next week will be our first trip will be to Kettle Moraine State Southern Unit.

Point Beach is our favorite campground. They have a very nice campground and there is a bike trail there that you can ride all the way to Two Rivers through the woods. We try to get there every year. We will be there July 1-4 this year.
