fivegonefishingOK, I m a happy camper now...just had to soft reset the silly thing. Nothing was lost but it still was kind of scary there for a while. [:)]

fivegonefishingThe great thing about a Palm Pilot is everything is backed up on your computer.

When I replaced mine, I was able to hot sync the new one, and everything got transfered, just like the old one.

fivegonefishingOne of the tasks I ve decided to alot to my plam is to hold my packing list and my camping journal, once I find the best application to create it on that is.

I guess I m both a camping freak and computer geek![;)]

I feel your pain. My computer had to have a quick restore done on it and I lost all of my files. The hardest to lose was the family pictures. At least now the computer is getting back to normal. I almost have all the programs loaded back on.

fivegonefishingI killed mine, somehow a battery came out? I don t think my camping program was hotsync-able. I still have to hotsync but I m potentially bummed but glad to hear yours turned out ok!

fivegonefishingSo, does this happen often on those things? I just got that message...and it s been quite a while since I hot-synced, so I m a bit worried about what I ve lost. Oh well, if I have to reload, I can and it will be a lesson learned the hard way.

fivegonefishingBig time geeks... I just bought a IIIc off e-bay.. Pretty comparable to the M130.. Color, 8 meg But I have a bigger screen.. Of, course the M130 has those cards..

Anyone want a good deal on a 8meg IIIxe with cradle, 4 new AAA NiMH rechargeable battries w/ a 12v/120v charger, and a brand new palm case

$100 + shipping let me know before it hits e-bay.... I have the box, software, and all the manuals

[:o]About 2 minutes ago, while downloading a couple of programs onto my Palm m130, I got a Falal Alert, something about non-word-aligned handle and I think I have to reset the silly thing...oh boy, I hope everything I hot synced will be put back otherwise this palm will be going through the door...the hard way![:@]
